2012-now: Contracted by Hutong Games Ltd. to cope with the exponential growth of their fantastic framework: PlayMaker. Creating bridges to various Unity API such as the PathFinding system or the network api and other third partiy frameworks such as Photon Networking. I am also actively supporting its great community.

 

2011-now: Highly enjoyable freelance work for major media agency KakiMediaDesign building two iPad applications with Unity for a major Aeronautical company. A video is available to show a sample of the application content. Application is unfortunatly only distributed within the company.

I am also contracted for virtual 3d simulation development by Oilennium. The work is under nda currently. This project make heavy use of an unity extension called PlayMaker, allowing me to provide extremly flexible development to accuratly represent highly complex processes. It recently won the Energy Innovation Award runner up prize in England.

 

2007-2010: Contracted during thee years by JumpTomorrow on a full blown online virtual 3d multi user casino for major brand 888 casino. I joined the existing team and ended up responsible of all slots development, from implementing artists 3d and design assets, to communication with the server in charge of managing the games. The main challenge was the need for highly flexible system ( the underlying amount of features and flexibility is untrue!). The critical factor was to achieve a 100% reliable system, as real money is involved, where the slightest failure leads to very expensive consequences. I worked with fantastic and inspiring people such as Alex Da Franca and Ullala.

 

2006-2007: Worked on exciting and challenging projects like coverflow widget. I have been involved in numerous high end application development where I could express my skills. I have for example built a virtual 3d introduction of world champions radio controled cars engines for RB products. This work was shown two years in a row at the Nuremberg international toy fair.

 

2003-2006: Worked with James Newton at Openspark Interactive Ltd. Great job, could not dream of a better position and environment in that field. He teached me how to code properly with lingo and make the most out of Macromedia Director. I have been working on many exciting projects, handled big projects on my own and dealt with clients personnaly.

 

2003: Part-time Lecturer on 3D graphic and animation, special effect and compositing (blue screening, camera matching and tracking). I have also created on-line tutorials to support my lecturing and future Bridging courses (Director 3d, Virtools and web 3d in general).

 

2001: Freelance work for my university ( in collaboration with another student) covering a Health School Standard meeting and produced a video tape of this day.

 

2001: Freelance work for my University designing a multimedia presentation ( cd medium). More information available on the Leeds University web site.

 

2000: 2 months on Macromedia Director 7 designing Multimedia application for FIRMENICH S.A based in Switzerland. It's a chemical factory. My goal was to show them what could be done with multimedia tools. I designed several interactive application ( water treatment, chemical mixing process) for educationnal purposes.

 

1997: 3 months work placement on AUTOCAD R13, R14, 3DSMAX building a complete house and a replica of the LEONARD de VINCI's flying machine. I did all the scene conceptions, animations, and video treatment.( COTTIN S.A, Geneva, CH )

2002:Multimedia Technology BSc ( Leeds Metropolitan University, UK ): First class honours award. I have also been awarded the prize of the best student BSc of the year by Leeds Metropolitan University.

 

1999: HNC in Management technology ( Leeds Metropolitan University, UK). 2.1 award. I passed this HNC during an exchange between my BTS and the Leeds Metropolitan University during summers' 1999 and 2000.

 

1998: BTS Maintenance diploma ( Cluse ETUDOC CFAI formation, FR ).

 

1995: Baccalaureat E (scientific with technical option): like an A LEVEL ( Bellegarde, FR )
